EDWARD BACH and healing flowers
Edward Bach (1886 – 1936)
Edward Bach was born in Wales and from a young age demonstrated an innate sensitivity and a keen spirit of observation towards natural phenomena.
He studied with passion at the University of Birmingham and became a doctor; soon, given his extraordinary intelligence and omnivorous curiosity, he develops an intolerance towards the academic environment.
Edward Bach was a particular doctor, with an eye always turned to the patient and one immersed in nature. Attentive observer of natural phenomena, sensitive herbalist.
He obstinately searched for a self-healing method based on the remedies that nature makes available to man. And he found it in the flowers.
Edward Bach's approach to illness Edward Bach soon understands that the disease is not just a manifestation, an isolated disorder; it is actually a question that the body asks and that the spirit must listen to if it does not want to remain trapped in discomfort. Not only. Most of his colleagues in scrubs focused on the disease and not the patient.
Bach understands that the isolated symptom reveals very little and therefore begins to study HOMEOPATHIC medicine and to explore the vast world of experimentation in the field of treatment.
Edward Bach often repeated to his patients and to himself: Health is the complete and harmonious union of soul, mind and body; it's not such a difficult ideal to achieve, but something easy and natural that many of us have overlooked.
